0为什么不能作除数？上到小学二、三年级的同学，经常会听到老师说：0不能做除数！

可是，0为什么不能作除数呢？有些同学会问到后，不知该如何回答，只好讲：人们是这样规定的吧！

其实，我们只要用几个算式分析一下，就知道零为什么不能作除数了。

一、如果用0作除数，可能会没有合适的商。

比如：8÷0=（　）这道算式，无论商填成多少，都无法满足除法算式的一个关系式：商×除数＝被除数。

也就是这里的商无论你填成多少，它与除数0相乘，都不可能得到被除数8。因为0和任何数相乘都得0。

二、如果用0作除数，可能会有无数个商（当被除数也为0时）。

比如：0÷0=（　）这道算式，这次我们把被除数也换成0，你会发现：无论商填成多少，它都符合“商×除数＝被除数”的关系式，商0，1，2，3，4，……都可以，也就是有无数个商。出现这种情况，也是因为“0和任何数相乘都得0”。

正因为0作为除数，可能会出现“没有商”或“有无数个商”的特殊情况，所以人们就规定了：0不能作除数。
