这个问题是在百度知道里看到的，提问者要求用方程来解答，我试了一下，最终还是掺杂了一点算术方法。

分析：货车与客车的速度比是3：4，说明货车速度是客车速度的3/4，可以设客车速度为每小时行x千米，那么货车速度就是每小时行（3/4）x千米。然后依据关系式：客车行的路程＝货车行的路程+60来列出方程，先求出客车速度后，再求甲乙两地距离就不难了。

解：设客车速度为每小时行x千米。
6x=6×（3/4）×x+60
6x=(18/4)x+60
(24/4)x-(18/4)x=(18/4)x-(18/4)x+60
6/4x=60
x=40

即客车速度为每小时行40千米，它6小时就行了：40×6＝240（千米），240千米是全程的一半，所以甲乙两地的距离就是：240×2＝480（千米）
