数学题解答（解答者：资优网F老师）：这里分挑水和抬水两种情况：

挑水时，一个人，一根扁担，两个桶；

抬水时，两个人，一根扁担，一个桶。

通过比较可以发现，两种情况中所需要的扁担都是1根。那就说明挑水的扁担与抬水的扁担合起来正好是32根。

这题用方程解答比较容易，设有x根扁担用于挑水，则抬水的扁担为(32-x)根。

根据“一共有49个桶”，可以列出方程：

2x + (32 – x) = 49

x+32=49

x=17

即挑水的扁担有17根，所以挑水的是17人。

抬水的扁担有：32-17=15（根），所以抬水的有：15×2=30（人）

算术方法（由六年级群“XXX-资优网”同学提供）：

49-32=17（个）…………桶比扁担多的数量。先用一个桶配一根扁担，可以配32对，再把多的桶分别配上去，说明有17个挑水的同学。

17×2=34（个）…………挑水一共用了34个桶

49-34=15（个）…………说明剩下15个桶是抬水用的

15×2=30（人）…………抬水的人数
