数学题解答：长方体没横截面，截成了3段，在每一个切开的地方会增加两个横截面，一共增加了4个横截面：2×2=4（个）

表面积比原来增加了36平方分数，就是这4个横截面的总面积，所以每个横截面的面积是：

36÷4=9(平方分米)

最后要求长方体的体积，只需拿“横截面的面积×长”就可以了。

因为有一个长方体体积公式就是“长方体的体积＝横截面面积×长”：

9×5=45（平方分米）
