数学题解答：这是一道关于统筹方法运用的题目（统筹方法是华罗庚教授最先提出来的）。具体答案是：先把鱼做好（8分钟），在吃鱼的时候，再做茄子，最后做海带（8分钟，正好够用），海带上来后，又吃了2分钟，总时间是：8+8+2＝18（分钟）。

本哥的理解：我懂了，在吃鱼的8分钟里，鱼吃了5分钟时，茄子好了，同吃鱼和茄子，3分钟吃完（此时同时在做凉拌海带），再吃2分钟海带，所以就是8+8+2＝18（分）。
