要注意两个地方：1.后来往两个容器中加的水是同样多的；2.两个容器的底面积之比为2：5，那么体积相同的情况下，高之比应为5：2。

也就是说，后来加入的水的深度之比应为5：2。

还有，就是原来甲容器水深比乙容器水深低6厘米，这低的应该就是后来加入的水相差的深度——甲容器中加入的水比乙容器中加入的水要深6厘米。

先算出每份水的深度，后面的就好办了。

6÷（5-2）＝2（厘米）

甲容器中加入的水的深度：2×5＝10（厘米）

甲容器原来的水深：18-10＝8（厘米）

答：原来甲容器中的水深是8厘米。
